Item rarities

From Common to Mythic, and where ancestral items fit.

The ladder

Items run Common, Magic, Rare, Legendary, Unique and Mythic. Legendaries carry an aspect. Uniques carry a fixed unique power.

Ancestral items

Ancestral items start to drop in Torment I. An ancestral item can roll one or more greater affixes, up to four.

Uniques

Each unique has two guaranteed affixes, chosen to suit that item. Its other affixes roll at random.

Mythics

A mythic is the top version of a unique. Mythics roll their affixes at top value. Most uniques can drop as mythics, and the chance climbs with the Torment tier.

Season 15 legacy uniques

Nine uniques from earlier Diablo games were added in Season 15 and stay in the game on both realms.
