Crafting
Horadric Cube
Sixteen recipes for changing, rerolling and crafting gear.
Unlocking it
The Cube is recovered during the Lord of Hatred campaign, in the quest Doorways to the Distant Past. After that it stays in Temis for you to use whenever you like.
How it works
Pick a recipe, add the item and any optional ingredients, and transmute. Dust and resin are taken from your materials automatically. The recipes and costs below were read from the Cube in game on 5 October 2026, in Season 15.
Changing affixes
These four recipes build an item one affix at a time. They stop at legendary gear: none of them accepts a unique.
Tuning Prisms
A Tuning Prism narrows what a recipe can touch or produce, so the result is less of a gamble.
Rerolling values
These keep an item's affixes and powers and reroll only the numbers. Horadric Resin is an optional extra on both.
Making and upgrading items
Transfigure Item
Transfigure grants a random, powerful modification to a Legendary, Unique or Mythic item for 1 Volatile Primordial Dust. The game warns that the item has a very high chance of becoming Unmodifiable afterwards, so treat it as the last thing you ever do to an item.
Talisman recipes
Combining items
Three recipes need no dust at all.
Runewords
The Cube also crafts runewords from a Common base item and the right runes. See the Runes and Runewords guide.
