What makes UniqueDrop different...
Build guides, a full planner, Target farm, the Item codex and resource pages checked against Season 15. Here's what's on the site and why we built it this way.
UniqueDrop is the quintessential hub for Diablo IV, and for everything confirmed so far about Diablo V. It has build guides, tier lists, planning tools and reference pages, all built around one moment: an item has just pinged when hitting the floor and you want to know, quickly, whether it matters.
This post covers what is on the site today, how we put it together, and what we do differently.
Near Real-time checking
Every game number on UniqueDrop is checked against the game where we can, and every page says which season and patch it was checked for.
When we cannot confirm something, we say so instead of guessing. Pages carry notes like "to be checked in game" or "sources disagree", and we name the items or numbers in question. We'd rather show you a gap than fill it with a mistake.
The same goes for the builds you see on the site today. They're clearly marked as demo builds. They show how a finished guide looks, but they're not tested, so please don't plan your season around them. Real guides from our Creators will end up replacing them.
Built for the drop
The front page opens on a falling item. Press Drop another and you get one of 50 real uniques and mythics, complete with affixes and power. It's a small thing, but it sums up the site - we care about the moment you look at a tooltip and have to decide.
Four tools sit right under it:
- Target farm. Type the unique you want, even part of the name, and see which boss drops it, their tier, where to find them and which key opens the hoard. It covers 329 uniques, including the general pool, runewords and items where the sources still disagree.
- Upgrade check. Pick the build you play and the slot, tick what your drop rolled, and get a clear call: keep it, keep it and enchant, or salvage. The same check sits under every gear slot in every guide.
- Item codex. Every Season 15 unique and aspect with its power: 328 uniques and 434 aspects. Search by name, by the power text itself, by class or by slot.
- Build planner. Plan a full build for any class and share it with one link.
A planner that does the maths
The planner covers all eight classes, from Barbarian to Warlock. You spend your 83 skill points across the tree, pick one upgrade from each branch and choose a variant.
The numbers move as you rank skills up. Damage values grow with rank, and so do the other values that scale, such as barrier, resistance and duration. We matched these against in-game readings, rank by rank, so the number you see is the number you get.
Below the tree you can fill in the rest of the build:
- Gear. Pick a unique or an aspect from the codex and its power fills itself in. Affixes and tempers come from searchable lists for your class, with toggles for greater affixes and masterwork targets.
- Paragon boards and runes. (No interactive Paragon boards just yet, but they're coming very soon)
- The talisman. Your seal sits in the middle and the charm slots around it unlock to match the seal you choose. Set charms show in green, with a tracker that tells you which set bonuses are active.
- Per-build loot filters. Coming soon!
Everything goes into the share link. Members can also save builds to their account and open them on any device.
Guides that read like a character sheet
Build guides are written by our Creators and staff. Each guide can hold several setups, such as Starter and Endgame, and each setup has its own skill tree, gear, paragon, runes and talisman.
Gear's laid out like a character sheet. Click a slot to see the item, its affixes in priority order, which ones should be greater affixes and where your masterwork crits should land. You can tick off pieces as they drop, and the guide keeps track for you.
Any guide can be opened in the planner, gear and all, so you can start from it and make it your own.
Tier lists and the Season race
Our editors place builds in four tier lists: Levelling, Endgame, Pit Pushing and Bossing. Next to them sits the Season race, which ranks builds by how many members have saved them. It shows what people are actually playing, and it counts real saves only.
Resources you can trust
The Resources section covers what sits outside your build:
- Crafting: tempering, masterworking, the Horadric Cube, talismans, runes and all 19 runeword recipes.
- Activities: from Torment tiers and the Pit to Helltide, Infernal Hordes, Kurast Undercity and the Season 15 additions.
- Bosses: every lair boss with its location, its key and its full loot table, plus the general unique pool and how mythics drop now.
- The world map and item basics: rarities, greater affixes, gems and loot filters.
Diablo V, without the rumours
Our Diablo V page only lists what has been shown or confirmed, with a source for each point. It also keeps a list of what is not known yet, so you can tell the difference at a glance. You can try the new grid inventory there too, and equip and move items around in it.
Free to use, better with an account
Everything above is free to read and use. A free account lets you save builds and planner setups and pick up where you left off on any device. Creators write guides, and other tiers will add more room for saved builds when they launch.
What makes UniqueDrop different
- We check everything in-game. We tell you which patch each page reflects, and we show and label anything we're unsure about.
- Built for the drops. Target farm, Upgrade check and the codex answer the questions you have mid-session - in seconds.
- One connected toolset. The codex feeds the planner, the planner reads guides, and the loot tables feed Target farm. Fix a fact once and it's right everywhere.
- Our own words. Guides and reference pages are written for UniqueDrop, in plain language.
- Proper planning for everyone. The full planner is not locked to staff or Creators. Every visitor can plan a complete build and share it.
Tell us what's wrong
Patches move fast. If a number looks off, a drop doesn't match, or something's missing, tell us at info@unique-drop.com. Every report gets checked in game, and the fix goes live for everyone.
See you in Sanctuary.
